January 15, I headed to Park City, Utah with the Polk Imaging team, to shoot various events at the Sundance Film Festival. Some of us were lucky enough to fly, while others endured the 11 hour drive.
Polk Imaging divided to shoot for a few different clients: Got Milk, TMobile and Oakley. Chris Polk photographed celebrities and guests who stopped by The Got Milk studio - every guest got painted with a milk mustache before they were photographed! Everyone had a lot of fun in the studio - Christina Milian, Kaycee Stroh and Danielle Fishel were just a few of our faves.
I assisted at the Got Milk Studio, mainly working as the computer technician. The Canon 5D Mark II was tethered to a 30" screen using Capture One software, so guests could see their photos immediately. After picking a favorite photo I would print a copy for everyone.
When we were done working we drove over to the Oakley house where we shopped the basement and picked out brand new jackets, pants, boots and gloves. Then we hit the Park City slopes with the Oakley snowboarding team. What a trip!
