Around 5 PM I had the bright idea that driving up past Malibu to go camping would be a grand idea. Well, minus sitting in traffic for 2 hours, setting the tent up in the dark, and hearing a wild animal attack in the middle of the night - it was. Leo Carillo campsite is one underpass away from a world of ocean exploration. Early in the morning there are hundreds of tide pools and ocean caves exposed. Plus, retro looking bright blue life guard stations, an ocean side hike and wild life. I took my tripod with and got some great long shutter shots at night.
